Lindsey Powell Townsend is a native Arkansan who grew up in the Hope/Prescott area. She graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, and a Master’s degree in Agriculture in 2008. Lindsey currently is a Chamber Ambassador and PTO Treasurer.  She is a Life Member of Junior Auxiliary of Hope, 4H volunteer, Melonvine Striders Running Club member, past Southwest Arkansas Arts Council board member, a past board member of Hempstead County Chamber and past Director of Women Run Arkansas ~ Hope Clinic. Lindsey is a past member of the Southern Arkansas University Alumni Board, which she served as the Secretary/Treasurer.

Lindsey is married to Wade, and they have two children, Henry and Allison. The family is active members of Spring Hill Christian Church.

Lindsey’s passions include her church, her family, riding and showing Reining horses, being a rodeo mom to Henry and a dance mom to Allison, and cheering for the Spring Hill Bears, Prescott Curley Wolves and Hope Bobcats.
